The Leader in Proof of Performance
Pruvan is the industry leader in third party certification and proof of performance. When you integrate with Pruvan, your organization can prove that work was completed correctly and on time at the right location. Pruvan delivers certified results with the Pruvan Certified Service Record (CSR).
Every time a project in Pruvan is published, a Certified Service Record is generated. The CSR provides an overview of the project including number of photos taken, surveys completed, the associated vendor’s background check, and a map of the service area from Google Maps. The CSR doesn’t stop there, however.
The CSR confirms whether or not the associated photos are certified for time and location with the Pruvan Trust Seal. When Pruvan asserts that something is certified, it means that Pruvan can verify that the location and time reported are accurate and have not been tampered with.
Below is an example of a Pruvan Certified Service Record. It begins with the Project Name and a Google Map (A) of the area around the project address. A pin is dropped at every location where a photo was taken to show that photos were taken at the correct property. Because Pruvan is integrated with Google Maps, the best maps application on the market, this map is interactive, allowing you to pan and zoom in.
Below the map is the project information: the project number and address (B). Clicking on the project number will take you to the Project Manager in the Pruvan Online Portal if you are signed into an account that has access, or if you are a client, you will be directed to view the project in Client Portal mode. Next is the certification statement (C) which includes a time window from when the earliest photo was taken to when the last photo was taken. Finally, there is a summary (D), by task, of how many photos are certified by the Pruvan Trust Seal.
How is it that Pruvan is able to certify every photo for every project? The answer lies in our Tamper Proof ID. A Tamper Proof ID is a universally unique identifier (UUID) that is assigned to every photo taken with Pruvan. The UUID allows an authorized party to verify the authenticity of photos on a project. Pruvan has an authentication webpage that takes the UUID as an input and displays the original photo and its associated metadata (date, time, GPS coordinates, etc.) so that the authorized party can determine if a manipulation to the photo has been made.
While every photo is assigned a UUID, only certain photos are officially certified by Pruvan. For a photo to be certified, time, data, and location data must correctly correspond with the address and date on an project. Now, if a photo isn’t certified that does not immediately imply malicious intent. It could simply mean that a photo was taken under the wrong project and moved to the correct project later or there was poor network coverage in the service location so GPS coordinates could not be confirmed. This is why the Pruvan Trust Seal certifies each photo on every task individually so you can easily determine the exact issue with a non-certified photo.
Now, why is certified data so important? Certified photos can save you and your business a lot of time and money. Demonstrating to clients in a professional report that a job was completed in full and on time lends your business credibility, differentiating your business from the competition, and allowing you to win new business and charge a premium for your services.
Numerous Pruvan clients have won new business precisely because of the certified results on the Certified Service Record. Additionally, as mentioned before, costly claims against you or your crews can be avoided all together with certified photographic evidence and overhead costs associated with risk management can be negotiated down.
We are proud to be the leader in proof of performance and our CSR is one of many reasons why Pruvan has this distinction across many industries. Want to learn more? Read our Tamper Proof whitepaper or reach out and we’ll help you get the certified results you need for your business.
